Google Drive

The Google Drive integration imports recordings, documents, and spreadsheets straight from Drive into User Evaluation. No download / re-upload step.

Connecting Drive

  1. Open Integrations in the left navigation.
  2. Find Google Drive in the list and click it.
  3. Google's consent screen opens. Review the requested scopes (read-only access to files you select) and allow.
  4. The integration card shows Connected.

Importing files

Inside a project:

  1. Open the Upload tab (or click Add files in the Files tab).
  2. Choose Import from Google Drive.
  3. Google's file picker opens. Select one or more files: audio, video, documents, or sheets.
  4. Click Select. Files import in the background.

Imported files behave like uploaded files. They get transcribed, indexed, and chatted-with the same way.

What we access

  • We request read-only access to files you explicitly pick in the Google file picker.
  • We don't have access to your full Drive. Only files you select per-import.
  • We don't store your Google password. OAuth only.

Revoke access at any time from your Google Account → Security → Third-party apps.

Re-importing

We don't auto-sync changes. If a Drive file changes and you want the updated version, re-import it. The new copy joins the project as a new file.

Troubleshooting

  • "This file type isn't supported." Drive supports many formats; we support a subset (audio/video, PDF, Google Docs, Google Sheets, plain text, CSV). For other formats, export to a supported type first.
  • OAuth keeps prompting. Clear cookies on accounts.google.com and re-connect.
  • Imports stall. Large files (over 1 GB) can take time. Watch the file's status in the Files tab.
