Zapier
Zapier connects User Evaluation to 5,000+ apps. Recordings flow in from Zoom, Teams, Dropbox, and other sources; transcripts, test responses, and reports flow out to Slack, Notion, Airtable, and wherever your team works.
Connecting Zapier
- Generate an API key from Settings → API Keys. It starts with
ue_live_. Copy it. - Accept the User Evaluation Zapier invite and sign in to Zapier.
- Create a Zap and search for User Evaluation when picking a trigger or action.
- Paste your API key when prompted. Zapier verifies the key and labels the connection with your account email.
Manage authorizations under your Zapier account at any time.
Triggers
All triggers are instant. User Evaluation pushes the event to Zapier the moment it happens; there is no polling delay.

Actions

Example Zaps
- Zoom → UE. Trigger: Zoom "New Recording". Action: Upload File to Project. Every cloud recording lands transcribed. The same shape works for Webex, Fireflies, Fathom, Grain, and tl;dv.
- Folder watch → UE. Trigger: Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, or Google Drive "New File in Folder". Action: Upload File to Project.
- UE → Slack. Trigger: Transcript Ready. Action: Slack "Send Channel Message". Your team sees research as it happens.
- UE → Airtable. Trigger: New Test Response. Action: Airtable "Create Record". The study tracker fills itself in.
- CRM → UE. Trigger: deal closed in your CRM. Action: Create Project for that account.
The Integrations page inside the app has a setup page for each of these with exact steps.
Limits
- API keys are workspace-scoped. Make sure the key you connect belongs to the right organization.
- File uploads via URL are capped at 500 MB. A two-hour HD recording can exceed this; trim or compress first.
- Zapier task volume depends on your Zapier plan, not your User Evaluation plan.
