Creating an AI Report
This guide walks through generating a report.
1. Ask the chat agent
Open the Chat tab and ask for a report. Be specific:
- "Draft a report on the top three pain points, grouped by theme."
- "Write an exec summary of the SMB interviews, with a quote per finding."
A concrete brief beats a vague one. Include the angle, the audience, the sections you want, and any charts or tables.
The agent drafts the report and it streams into the Outputs tab. Let it finish before editing.
2. Open it in Outputs
Open the Outputs tab. Filter by Reports at the top to see just reports. Click any one to open it.
3. Edit
The rich editor lets you:
- Rewrite or restructure any section.
- Add headings, lists, and quotes.
- Insert or remove charts and tables.
- Change citations or remove them.
Edits autosave.
4. Export and share
From the report's actions menu (top right):
- Export to Word for a
.docxfile. Charts come through as native objects. - Create share link for a read-only public link to the report (then Copy share link to copy it again).
(Individual chart artifacts export as PNG via Download as PNG in their own actions menu.)
If a section feels weak, ask the chat agent to rewrite it; paste the result into the editor.
