Plan & Usage
The Plan & Usage section shows your current limits, your usage against those limits, and a link to billing.
User Evaluation pricing has two parallel dimensions:
- Analyze plan. Covers projects, transcription, storage, team seats.
- Engage plan. Covers interviews and surveys you launch through Engage.
You can sit on different tiers for each side.
Analyze plan
Tracks the data side of the product:
- Transcription. Minutes of audio/video transcribed this billing period.
- Storage. Total media stored across all projects.
- Team invites. Seats filled vs. available.
- Projects (free plan only). Number of your own projects. The bundled sample doesn't count.
Free plans cap each. Paid plans raise them.
Engage plan
Tracks the recruitment side:
- UE-supplied interviews. Interviews and surveys with participants we recruit from the User Evaluation pool. Surveys count as ¼ of an interview.
- Own-participant interviews. Studies with participants you bring yourself. No recruitment cost, but they still count as a session.
Once you exhaust your monthly Engage budget, upgrade or wait until the next billing cycle.
Billing portal
On paid plans, click Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal. From there:
- See past invoices.
- Update card or payment method.
- Cancel or change subscription tier.
A separate Upgrade plan button takes you to the plans page to pick a tier. Plan changes take effect immediately, with proration applied at your next invoice.
Common questions
- Why are my projects counted but the sample doesn't show? The bundled sample project is excluded from your free-plan project count, so you always have at least one slot for your own work.
- What happens if I run out of Engage budget mid-study? Active studies keep collecting completions until they hit your set participant cap. You won't be billed beyond your plan; further matches queue until your next budget cycle.
- Can I see usage by project? Not in the current settings page. For granular breakdowns, write to support.
