AI-Generated Survey
An AI-Generated Survey is a fixed-question survey built from your brief. The AI drafts the questions; you review and edit; you publish. Participants answer a standard form. No chat, no follow-ups, no audio.
Use it when you need fast, structured responses you can count and compare.
What participants see
Participants click the invite, optionally pass the screener, and answer the form. Question types are Text Input, Multi-line Input, Number Input, Multiple Choice, and Checkboxes. They submit, see a thank-you page, and any incentive queues.
Launching one
Click Interviews → New → AI-Generated Survey. The wizard:
1. Describe
A short brief on what you want to learn. The AI uses it to draft the question set.
2. Select or filter
Audience: pool filter or your own list. See Audience & recruiting.
3. Screen
Optional. Failed screeners exit before the survey starts.
4. Additional details
Incentive, deadline, max responses, redirect URLs.
5. Review and launch
What you get back
Each submission becomes a structured response in the study's project, with:
- Per-response detail you can browse.
- A CSV-style aggregate view across all responses.
- Aggregate insights from the AI.
- Full chat-with-data support: ask "what's the average willingness-to-pay among CTOs?" and get a number with citations.
