Clips
A clip is a downloadable slice of audio or video, captured from any moment in your transcripts. Use clips for stakeholder demos, montage compilations, or sharing a single line a participant said.
Making a clip
Two ways:
- Highlight and clip. Select text in an audio or video transcript; the selection toolbar opens. Click Clip. The clip captures the corresponding audio/video range automatically. (Clip only appears on audio/video selections.)
- Ask the chat agent. "Save a 30-second clip of the moment the participant explains the bug" triggers the agent's
create_cliptool.
After you save, the clip processes for a few minutes (depending on file size). Once done, the download button activates.
The Clips tab
The project's Clips tab lists every clip you've made. Each card shows the file it came from, duration, transcript snippet, and tags.
Click a clip to:
- Play it inline.
- Download as MP4.
- Delete.
Clips also show up in Outputs as artifacts of type clip, alongside reports and decks.
Tags on clips
Tag your clips to organize them by theme, speaker, or moment type. Tags work the same way as on transcript spans; see Tags.
Sharing
Every clip has a public link you can share without a User Evaluation account. The link plays the clip with the same controls as the in-product player.
