Files Tab
The Files tab lists every file you've added to a project: recordings, documents, surveys. Click any file to open the asset viewer.
For each file you'll see:
- Title and type. Icons show audio, video, text, PDF, or CSV.
- Duration (audio/video) or size.
- Status. A file moves through Uploading, Uploaded (queued), Processing, then Ready; a failed file shows Error.
- Tags applied to the file.
Opening a file
Click a file. The asset viewer opens on the right with the type-appropriate UI:
- Audio / video: an interactive player with the transcript next to it. Click any transcript line to seek.
- PDF: page viewer plus extracted text.
- Text: full document view.
- CSV: table view; rows become rows the agent can query.
For audio and video, the transcript shows next to the player, with sentiment and tag overlays you can toggle.
Adding files
Open the Upload tab in the left sidebar. It has three tabs:
- Upload. Drag and drop, or click to browse, from your computer. Max 500 MB per file; audio, video, text, PDF, or CSV.
- Library. Pick files already in your workspace media library.
- Notetaker. Send the notetaker to join a live meeting.
You can also drop files anywhere on the Files tab to upload and attach them in one step.
Removing or renaming files
Hover any file row and use the kebab menu to rename, edit transcript notes, or remove the file from the project.
Removing a file from a project does not delete it from your workspace media library, where every file you've uploaded stays listed. See Files (media library).
Files vs. media library
The project Files tab shows files attached to this project. The workspace Files (media library) shows everything across all projects.
